Q1. How do I get a file from my computer into the app?

Pick whichever of these three is easiest for you:

  1. Wi-Fi Upload (recommended): tap Import → Wi-Fi Upload on the home screen, open the IP address shown on screen from your computer's browser, then drag the files in (the phone and computer must be on the same Wi-Fi).
  2. Files app: drop the files into iCloud Drive or the local Files area, then in AudioCutPro tap Import from Files.
  3. Share to AudioCutPro: from Mail, Messages, Safari, or any app supporting the share sheet, long-press a media file and choose Share → AudioCutPro.
Q2. Does AI Vocal Separation require an internet connection? Is my audio kept on the server?

Yes, AI Vocal Separation requires an internet connection. The audio segment you select is uploaded to our server for AI inference. After processing, the server immediately erases the original audio segment and only retains the minimal task state needed to deliver results. See Privacy Policy section 2. Processing time depends on the audio length; a 3-5 minute song typically completes in 30-90 seconds.

Q3. Do other features need the internet?

No. Trimming, speed/pitch, mixing, multi-track editing, denoise, format conversion, video/audio conversion, ringtone creation, and recording all run entirely on your device.

Q4. Where are processed files saved? How do I export them?

All output is stored in the "Files" list inside the app. You can:

Q5. Will uninstalling the app delete my files?

Yes. iOS sandboxing erases all local files and project data when an app is uninstalled, and the data cannot be recovered. Export anything important before uninstalling (see Q4).

Q6. How do I set an m4r ringtone on iPhone?

The app exports standard m4r files (≤ 40 seconds). To set it as your ringtone:

  1. Export the ringtone from AudioCutPro;
  2. In the share sheet choose "Copy to GarageBand"; in GarageBand long-press the clip → Share → Ringtone;
  3. In iOS Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Ringtone, pick your new ringtone.

GarageBand is a free download on the App Store if you don't have it.

Q7. How do I cancel a subscription?

Go to iOS Settings → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → find AudioCutPro → Cancel Subscription. You retain access until the end of the current billing period.

Q8. The app crashes, freezes, or refuses to load a file. What now?

Try the following in order:

  1. Force-quit the app (swipe up to the app switcher and flick the AudioCutPro card off-screen), then relaunch;
  2. Check that the source file is intact (oversized files or DRM-protected files may not parse);
  3. Update to the latest version from the App Store (tap your avatar → pull down to refresh);
  4. Restart your iPhone.

Q9. Which formats can I import?

Audio: MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, FLAC, AIFF, Ogg, AMR, and other mainstream formats. Video: MP4, MOV, M4V, QuickTime, and other containers natively supported by iOS (audio is auto-extracted).

Q10. What am I allowed to do with content processed in the app?

AudioCutPro is a tool; you retain full rights over content you own or are lawfully authorized to use. You may not use the App to process or distribute content that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law. See Terms of Service section 5.
