Welcome to AudioCutPro (the "App"). The App is developed and operated by Hangzhou Huanyin Technology Co., Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our"). We take your privacy seriously and process your information in accordance with applicable laws and best practices, including the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China (PIPL), the Cybersecurity Law of the PRC, GDPR principles where relevant, and the Apple App Store Review Guidelines.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we store and share it, what rights you have, and how to contact us. Please read this policy carefully before using the App. By installing or continuing to use the App, you agree to the terms of this policy. Terms in bold require special attention.

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

We follow a "minimum necessary" principle and collect information only when it is needed to provide the App's features, ensure operational security, and improve the product experience.

1.1 Information you actively provide

• Audio and video files you import. When you import media through the Photos library, Files App, or the Wi-Fi Upload feature, files are stored in the App's local sandbox on your device. Except for content you explicitly send to the AI Vocal Separation feature, these files never leave your device.
• Feedback you submit. If you email us, we will use the contents of your message, any attachments, and your reply address to handle and respond to your request.

1.2 Information collected automatically while you use the App

• Device and system information: iOS version, device model, App version, App Store storefront region, and screen metrics. Used for adaptation, analytics, and troubleshooting.
• Anonymous device identifier: generated locally in the iOS Keychain using the open-source FCUUID library (derived from IDFV). Used solely to deduplicate unique devices in our self-hosted analytics. It is not linked to any directly identifying personal information.
• Operation logs: pages you visit, features you trigger, timestamps, success/failure status, and minimal event context (such as the filename and duration of the audio you process). Used for product improvement and debugging.
• Network metadata: when you actively use an online feature we receive standard network metadata (NAT-translated IP address, connection type) used for routing and audit purposes.

1.3 Information from system permissions: see Section 6 below. We request iOS permissions only when you actively trigger the corresponding feature.

1.4 Information we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your real name, government ID, phone number, postal address, or bank/payment card details.
• We do not access your contacts, SMS, call history, or HealthKit data.
• We do not perform precise GPS location tracking and never request "Location" permission.
• We do not embed any advertising or user-profiling third-party SDKs.

2. How We Store Information

2.1 Storage methods

• Local storage: all media and projects are stored in the iOS sandbox at Documents/Files/. Project metadata lives in a local Realm database whose key is held in iOS Keychain.
• Temporary cloud storage: only when you actively use AI Vocal Separation, the necessary audio segment is uploaded to our server (audio.58dijital.com, hosted on Cloudflare Workers). After AI inference completes, the server immediately erases the original audio segment and retains only the minimal task state needed to deliver the result.
• Server-side logs: our self-hosted Matomo analytics (matomo.douwantech.com) and the lightweight parameter endpoint (params.cn) keep necessary access logs for aggregate statistics and iteration.

2.2 Retention period: we retain information only as long as it is necessary for the stated purpose. AI Vocal Separation source clips are erased immediately after each task; anonymous analytics logs are retained for no longer than 24 months.

2.3 Storage location: our servers are located within mainland China or in filed cross-border facilities. We currently do not transfer your personal information across borders.

3. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

We do not share, transfer, or disclose your personal information to any third party outside our company and affiliates, except in the following circumstances:

• With your prior explicit consent;
• To comply with applicable laws, legal process, or mandatory administrative or judicial requests;
• To protect the lawful rights, life, property, or other significant interests of you, other users, or the public, to the extent permitted by law;
• For information you have voluntarily disclosed to the public;
• From legally published sources (such as legitimate news reports or government disclosures);
• For academic research conducted by an academic institution in the public interest, where personally identifying details in the published results are de-identified;
• Other circumstances reasonably necessary to safeguard our lawful rights and interests.

For features that involve third-party services (see Section 7), only the minimum data needed for that service is shared. We enter into binding data-processing agreements with these third parties and require them to handle data strictly as agreed.

4. Information Security

• Encryption in transit: all communication between the App and our servers uses HTTPS / TLS 1.2+.
• Encryption at rest: the database key is stored in iOS Keychain; the database file is AES-encrypted.
• Request signing: client requests are signed (HMAC) to prevent tampering and replay attacks.
• Least privilege: server-side modules access only the data necessary for their function, with full access auditing.
• Incident response: in the unlikely event of a personal information security incident, we will notify affected users of the situation, possible impact, mitigation actions, and recommended precautions, in compliance with applicable laws.

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

• Access and copy: the App is local-first; you can browse, copy, and back up your media via the iOS Files App at any time.
• Correction and supplementation: you may edit, rename, or regenerate projects directly in the App.
• Deletion: you may delete any file or project in the App; uninstalling removes all local data in the sandbox.
• Withdrawing consent: you may revoke microphone, photos, camera, or media library permissions in iOS Settings → AudioCutPro at any time.
• Complaints: if you believe we have processed your personal information unlawfully, please contact us using Section 10 below.

6. System Permissions We Request

The App requests the following iOS permissions only when you actively trigger the corresponding feature. You may decline any of them, in which case the corresponding feature will be unavailable.

The App does not request Location, Contacts, Calendar, Health, Bluetooth, or Face ID permissions. The Wi-Fi Upload feature only opens a local listening port on your LAN when you turn it on, runs entirely on-device, and does not require any networking permission.

7. Third-Party SDKs and Services

We integrate the following third-party components only to deliver core functionality and operational stability. Each has been individually reviewed for compliance, and the data they can access is strictly minimized:

The App does not integrate Umeng, Sensors Analytics, Bugly, WeChat, Alipay, Facebook, or Google Analytics, nor any other ad-targeting or user-profiling SDK.

8. Minors

The App is a general-purpose audio/video utility and is not directed at children. If you are under 14, you should only use the App under the guidance and with the consent of a parent or guardian. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 14 without verified guardian consent, we will delete the data as soon as practicable. Guardians who discover such cases may contact us via Section 10.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our product evolves and as laws change. Updates will be published with a new effective date on this page, in the App's release notes, or in our website. For material changes affecting your rights, we will notify you more prominently — for example, via an in-app banner or email. Please review this page periodically.
